By accessing or using the MontCo Makers website, registering for a class, purchasing a membership, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a membership. Minors may participate in kids' classes only when registered by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
3. Memberships, Classes, and Purchases
Memberships, class registrations, gift cards, shop purchases, and commission services are subject to the descriptions, prices, and policies posted on our website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify our offerings, schedules, and pricing at any time.
4. Payment
All payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all fees incurred. Recurring memberships will automatically renew until canceled.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Class cancellations and refund eligibility are governed by the cancellation policy posted for each class or membership. Unless otherwise stated, gift cards are non-refundable. Commissions are subject to the deposit and refund terms in your signed commission agreement.
6. Shop Safety and Conduct
Woodworking involves inherent risks. By participating in any class or using shop facilities, you agree to follow all safety rules, instructor directions, and posted procedures. You assume the risk of injury or property damage that may result from participation. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove individuals who behave unsafely or disrupt our community.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of MontCo Makers or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our written permission.
8. User Submissions
If you submit reviews, photos, commission inquiries, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our business.
9. Communications
By providing your email or phone number, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your account, classes, and purchases. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and out of SMS by replying STOP.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MontCo Makers and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MontCo Makers harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
